Executive Assistant to the Managing Director

We are a small and friendly team that works closely with each other to provide excellent customer service at all levels. We serve a few clients who operate locally, in the UK, and internationally. We have a genuine interest and motivation for technology. We are always ready to adopt and apply new technologies for our clients.
The job
- As the executive assistant to the managing director, you will be responsible for executing various improvements, processes and disciplines across the organisation.
- You will act as the chief of staff, ensuring that things get done on time and to a high standard, working closely with internal staff as well as various third parties.
- You will take ownership of the successful execution of various initiatives at a high level, ranging from administrative tasks to strategic projects.
About you
- You have excellent organisational skills and can manage multiple priorities effectively.
- You have exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) and can adapt your style to different audiences and situations.
- You have great computer skills and can learn new technologies quickly. You are comfortable using multiple software and platforms, and have a good understanding of social media.
- You have the ability to be proactive and think outside the box, finding solutions to challenges and opportunities.
- You have a keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work.
- You have the ability to bring the team together and get things done with clear instructions and feedback.
- You have previous experience as a PA, admin or team manager, and can demonstrate your skills and achievements in these roles.
- You are flexible, punctual and trustworthy, and have a good work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow.
- You are happy to help with a positive attitude and can take on any challenge with enthusiasm and confidence.
Some of the things you would do here
- Take initiative and ownership to organise and streamline all sorts of internal processes, from office management to finance and HR.
- Communicate clearly and effectively across all levels internally and with customers, suppliers and partners.
- Educate clients about what products/services are available and how to purchase them, and build relationships with them.
- Help to ensure good discipline and processes are followed throughout the organisation, and suggest possible improvements.
- Help with recruitment (screening CVs, calls, interviews) and onboarding of new staff.
